So I work in the Town Hall in Oxford and so far I have never actually been anywhere other than the bus route, the town hall and then the bus route. So I took some timeout yesterday and had a look around Christ Church College, which is quite literally 5 mins from the Town Hall.
This hall was used as the inspiration for the Great Hall in Harry Potter 1 & 2 and is still active in the community, providing nights where you can banquet in the actual great hall. It's very very grand and thankfully, when I visited, was being laid out for supper, which was good for photos!
I love working in Oxford, it's got so much gorgeous architecture and history; it's beautiful!
