* every once in a while, a great horse is born. xx
Behind this image;; Submission for =nikkayla's contest. The horse in this image is Buffoon, aka. Buffy from the book 'Blind Beauty' by K.M.Peyton. Addicted to this story when I was younger; I reread it again in the last couple of days; firstly to remind myself about Buffoon.. but got caught up in the story again and found myself unable to put it down! "Buffoon is born to Declam's blind mare, Shiner. The threat of shadowy cararacts and failing sight hangs over him and his career. His name is not bestowed ironically, for even as a foal he is raw-boned, awkward and ugly. All the outward signs are that this is not a horse with a star of glory in his future, but outward appearances can be deceptive. Tessa is no angel. Far from it, she is wilful, rude, poisonous, sullen, uncooperative and on occassion even voilent. Perhaps she has cause to be, for her background is broken and messy. She lives with her step-father whom she hates and her cowed mother whom she loves but despises for letting him bully them both. Buffoon is special. They were bonded, girl and horse by Shiner. Before Tessa's life went bad, Through the ups and downs it is that bond that endures..." -- Blind Beauty - K.M.Peyton Second Submission: Lightning && {big} Full View please. x This is not a freebie! --- Photomanipulation copyrighted to devils-horizon.
