I have zero inspiration for horses anymore, a big let down to both me and the people that I am owing art, I know. I took a big blow from what someone said recently and realised how much my equine art was flailing amidst some really amazing art and artists who have submitted their work recently. I'm just not sure that my own work is up to par anymore T___T
I discovered the people, responsible for the music I've used as inspiration, yesterday when browsing through iTunes. E.S. Posthumus is not only right up my alley for gorgeous music, but the sound of their songs is just... well.. utterly beautiful. They are a group that produces cinematic style music. Certainly with "Ulaid" and "Nara" you will have heard them numerous times before as "Nara" specifically has been used in many movies/TV programs and even video games over the years. The Other Boleyn Girl, The Lord of The Rings: Two Towers and Lara Croft: The Angel of Darkness are some of the ones listed on Wikipedia.
However, this is not the only thing that inspired me to make what you see here. My ancestral roots are Scottish and Irish; and I love anything related... though this looks nothing like you would find in either Scotland or Ireland, it's something that you would find my mind creating for a dream scene, it's plot unfolding as I fall asleep. I could have placed something in there like a horse or a wolf, bear of some other creature; but I thought it looked better on it's own. Oh how I wish this place really existed; if it did I would surely escape there to live for all eternity.

(I hope that I don't have to regret not watermarking this big and bright across the middle! If you have any sense at all, or know how hard I fight for my art, then you'll know that taking this would be a VERY bad idea, I trust you're not brain-dead enough to do it anyway!?)

That is the most GORGEOUS terrain I've ever seen.....I love it <3. And Nara is a really great song xD
